 Manchester City postponed new signing contract talks with Kevin De Bruyne.

The 32-year-old Belgium midfielder has one year remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.

It is understood that initial talks between both parties have been held, but both Manchester City management and De Bruyne would prefer to focus on the end of the current season before resuming negotiations the new contract.

Belgium midfielder Kevin de Bruyne said to be happy at Manchester City and willing to extend his stay at the club with Guardiola also “desperate” to keep hold of the Belgian playmaker.
